Yesterday in my post The Mum Juggle I told you about taking the leap to work from home around my children. Today I can officially announce that I have taken on a new role, I am the new BritMums Editor!

This is the next stage in my blogging career. Through JuggleMum I have worked with some incredible brands and taken on speaking work and consultancy for businesses around social media and blogging. I will continue to work on JuggleMum, it is my baby and will always be my creative outlet – the place where I have total control of the output and work. However I’m also proud to be working with BritMums. It is Britain’s biggest collective of lifestyle bloggers and social influencers and runs the popular annual blogging event BritMums Live.
As a blogger, working from home I have always made a point of attending BritMums Live each year. The event gathers together some of the biggest brands who are looking to partner with bloggers and some incredible celebrity and high profile speakers, helping to bring blogging as a profession into the mainstream and raise awareness of what we do. BritMums Live has always been a place where I have secured my brand collaborations for JuggleMum for the year ahead, and I have met some lovely bloggers and firmed up friendships because of it.

My new role sees me taking over from the lovely Marianne Weekes who writes the blog Mari’s World as she has taken on a job doing social media for a holiday company. As BritMums Editor I will have the opportunity to get to know my fellow bloggers better – sharing posts from the community to help expand their reach and also having the opportunity to help administer the blogger brand work for BritMums Pro where bloggers can get paid to blog!
The beauty about this consultancy job for me is twofold; I am still working from home which means that nothing changes for my children, but I will also get to know my fellow bloggers better and continue writing for the BritMums platform. If you are a blogger within the BritMums network and wish to do a guest post, please do write to me with your suggestions! I can be contacted on my new email: nadine@britmums.com
I’m excited about what the future holds, and who may turn up in my future. The last BritMums Editor got to interview Antonio Banderas so you never know!
